Nationals Hotel Information

They have 2 rooms running at the competition. Here is the TENTATIVE schedule that I have so far (This is just a guideline. He said it may vary from last year’s which is below.):

Mon, 6/25: Teen groups, Teen & Petite Title Showdown, Petite solos, Teen large groups, Petite solos, senior duets/trio, Teen duos/trios, Petite duos/trios

Tues., 6/26: Senior small groups, Small groups, Large groups, Junior Lines, Junior Lines, Teen Lines, Junior Solos, Senior Solos

Wed, 6/27: Petite Groups, Junior Title Showdown, Petite Large Groups, Petite Lines, Teen Lines, Senior Lines, Senior Title Showdown

Thurs., 6/28: Battle of the Stars – Begins in the morning. I am told it will be finished around 6 or 6:30 p.m. Top 5 or more in each age division recomplete.

Hotel Info.–Misc. info: The group rate for guest rooms is $169 plus tax (currently 15%) and they are taking a two night non refundable deposit on every reservation. This price is for a room with a king bed or a room with 2 queen beds. (The King bedroom have less availability). A suite with a bed and pull-out couch is $50 more. If there are changes made to reservations after Friday, June 1, 2012 there will be a $50 charge per room per night and the changes will be based on availability. There is no parking charge. Internet access is free but wireless is only available in the lobby and not in the rooms. The rooms are wired for internet access. There is a coffee maker and hair dryer in the rooms.

Each family/parent should call individually since we will require the deposit at the time the reservation is made. Tell the reservationist they are calling for block STAR12. This will ensure you are given the discounted rate. Once rooms are gone then they will no longer be able to offer the discounted rate so the sooner you call, the better of you'll be. Mystic Seaport is about 20 minutes away.

There is a block of ten rooms at the Courtyard Marriott – Norwich which is about 11 miles – 2 exits passed the Mohegan.

No one has suites. The group has until April 3oth to book. The rate is good $119. Per night, plus tax for a King bed or 2 Queen Beds.

Parking is complimentary.- Complimentary High speed Wired and Wireless internet.

The other hotel that we are not holding a block but if there is interest is the Hyatt Uncansville.

Would have to have a block of 10 rooms – group rate is $105 during the week – Fri and Sat night rate is $185

This includes continental breakfast.
